Club member Stacy Robertson has just returned to Florida in the United
states to start rehearsals for a new Disney on Ice tour of the
states, Finding Nemo.
Before Stacy left we asked her if she would write an article for the
club and would keep in-touch while she was training and touring.
Here is her story
Most of you may know me but for those who don’t my
name is Stacey Robertson, I am 19 years old and I am here to share my
story about what hard work and a huge amount of dedication can achieve.
Not everyone makes it to the
Olympics or World Championships, but there is something else you can do
with your work, just like me, Shows, such as Disney on Ice and Holiday
on Ice.
In December 2008 I started my career in ice shows as a member of the
chorus in Holiday on Ice, Bugs Bunny around the World in 80 Minutes,
touring Europe for 3 months. I was then successful in being one of the
main characters Speedy Gonzales in the show.
After being successful at auditions earlier this year I am now jetting
off to America for 7 months to tour with Disney on Ice, Finding Nemo.
